We started Simplio because we were tired of tools that promise everything and deliver complexity.
It started with a frustration. We were running a small agency, talking to clients every day, and constantly forgetting to follow up. We tried every tool out there - big CRMs, small CRMs, fancy apps with AI, simple spreadsheets.
Nothing stuck. The big tools were overwhelming. They wanted us to log everything, define stages, set up automations. We spent more time maintaining the system than doing the work.
The simple tools were too simple. Spreadsheets do not remind you. Note apps do not show you what is due today. We kept dropping the ball.
So we built what we actually needed: a place to list clients, set the next action for each one, and get reminded when it is time to follow up. Nothing more.
It took us an afternoon to build the first version. We have been using it every day since. It works because it does exactly one thing well: it helps us stay on top of client relationships without any overhead.
